WCW:  What are you wearing right now?

DM:  Leather jacket with a long sweater that hits below the hips, scarf and skinny jeans tucked into boots. 

WCW:  Where do you find inspiration for new designs?

DM:  Mostly from people I see on the streets, sometimes music & movies

WCW:  Who is your style icon?

DM:  Kate Moss. 

WCW:  Is there any designer that you have always admired or tried to emulate?

DM:  Catherine Malandrino and Katayone Adeli. when she had her line.

WCW:  If you could dress any historical figure or celebrity who would it be and why?

DM:  I'd like to dress Jessica Simpson to give her a classier, but still sexy look.

WCW:  Who is the best dressed male?

DM:  Brad Pitt

WCW:  Who is the best dressed female?

DM:  Kate Moss

WCW:  When or how did you decide that you wanted to design clothing for the rest of your life?

DM:  I always had an eye for style and clothing and once I started experimenting with my ideas, I was encouraged by others to pursue a career in fashion. 

WCW:  What is the difference between fashion and style?

DM:  Fashion is a current trend.  Anyone can buy off the rack and wear it and look "fashionable" 

WCW:  What is your definition of style?

DM:  Style is totally individual.  It's the way someone puts together a look together that is totally unique to them. 

WCW:  What is your description of a perfect outfit?

DM:  Aside from having to be flattering to your body type, it's the feeling you get when you put it on.  It makes you feel totally confident, like you can take on the world.  This can mean a comfortable casual outfit to one person and super sexy over the top outfit to another. 

WCW:  What is the most essential article of clothing in any outfit?

DM:  In cooler temperatures it's a great coat or jacket because that's what people will see first regardless of what is underneath.   If the coat of jacket is amazing, what you have on under doesn't even matter. 

WCW:  What is the hottest trend that people should know about?

DM:  Variety and knowing what works for you.  Too many people chase the latest look and end up looking like "fashion victims". 

WCW:  What trend do you wish would disappear?

DM:  The over-the-top layering of different looks.  Layering is great and can be fun, but a tube top over a long sleeve shirt is just not right...c'mon?!

WCW:  Is there anything you would like to add?

DM:  Don't take it all too seriously, it's supposed to be fun!  Everyone has their own ideas and opinions and there is room for everyone.  That goes for fashion and everything in life.....
